Generate a report for your area

Type the states you cover. In a second you will see how many practices we hold there, what their websites say, which brands they name and what they publish as prices.

Two-letter state codes, up to 12. Free, no sign-in. Totals only: the practices behind each number need an account.

The question you already have

“I know three agencies that own dental in my region. I don't know who their clients are, so I can't go after them, and I can't tell a prospect what their competitors are doing.”

The list you'd build

The filters, in plain English

  • Country: US

  • Website designer credit: contains the agency's name

That's it. One filter.

What comes back

The count, then the practices

15,627 US practices credit whoever built their website, usually in the footer. Group them and you get every dental agency's client roster, by name.

The credit is a link or a line in the footer of the practice's own website. The field was cleaned of footer boilerplate on 7 September 2026 (5,654 values that failed the credit test retracted to unstated) and again on 23 September (617 more: cookie-consent tools, translation widgets, social buttons and bare titles). Read from the database on 23 September 2026.

Why each row is on the list

The evidence, its source, its date

The UK list is smaller and just as useful: Digimax 129, Dental Design 78, Xcelerator Dental 55, Design4Dentists 44. Filtered to one state, any of those rosters is a set of practices that have already proved two things: they pay an agency, and they are reachable.

  • The credit is a link or a line in the footer of the practice's own website, read on the date shown. We keep the sentence, and every name in that table quotes one — TNT Dental's is “designed and maintained by TNT Dental”, linking to tntdental.com.
  • It has to read as a credit. A footer saying “protected by copyright laws” is not an agency called Copyright Laws. We require a real credit phrase and a name that behaves like a name, and 6,271 values that failed that test were retracted to unstated in September 2026 rather than left to flatter the count.
  • We don't infer. If nobody is credited, the practice is not on any agency's list in our data. Most US practices credit nobody, and that means nothing about who they use.

Two more filters and it stops being a list and starts being an argument. 68,190 of the 78,027 US practice websites we have read name no online booking. 9,801 US implant practices rated 4.6 or better with 100 or more reviews had no ads running on Meta or Google when we checked: strong practices, no paid acquisition.

Why now

What changed, and when

This field was rebuilt on 7 September 2026 and cleaned again on 23 September. 6,271 values that failed the credit test — footer boilerplate, cookie-consent tools and translation widgets reading as agency names — were retracted to unstated, so every roster on this page is smaller and truer than the raw footers.

Nothing in the US dates an agency relationship: no filing marks its start and none marks its end. What is dated is the site itself. A practice on a roster whose site has not changed since 2019, running no advert we can see, is a retainer with nothing arriving for it, and both of those facts carry the day we read them.

The same five nearest competitors sit on the same four columns for any practice on the list — who publishes prices, who takes bookings online, who advertises, who names a scanner — already assembled, already dated.

What it's worth

The arithmetic, shown at three levels

US dental retainers run higher than UK. The largest roster alone is 762 practices with a proven willingness to pay an agency.

A monthly retainer, held for a year, against the seat:

Your retainerOne new client is worth, per yearAgainst a seat at $49/month
$2,000 a month$24,00041×
$3,000 a month$36,00061×
$5,000 a month$60,000102×

A founding seat is $49 a month, $588 a year.

What we can't tell you

The gaps, before you find them

  • The quality of the relationship. A footer credit tells you who built the site. It does not tell you who runs their ads, whether they're happy, or whether the contract ended in 2021 and nobody removed the link.

  • A credit is not a contract. Roughly one in nine US practices we have crawled carries a verified credit; the rest is honest unstated, not “no agency”. And a footer link can outlive the relationship by years.

  • Spend. We can see that a practice is advertising. We cannot see what it costs them.

  • What the practice sees about itself. Not the financial half of the record. Company filings, filed accounts and warning signs are rendered on a subscriber's view of a practice and never on a practice-facing one, in either direction. The United States files almost none of it; the rule is the one written for the UK side and it holds in both.

Questions

How do you know a practice has changed operator or control?

Two ways, kept apart. At Companies House, a director or controlling owner changed at the practice's company, dated by the filing. On the care register, the practice was registered again under another provider, and the register names the practice it replaced. A match we made ourselves is labelled "matched by us", with how sure we are.

What does "website first seen 2019" mean?

The earliest copy of the site in the Internet Archive. The site may be older, and the date says nothing about when it was last redesigned. Where there is no archived copy, we say so.

Can I filter a whole region by the agency credited?

Yes. The website-designer credit is a filter in Find practices and a column on each practice's Equipment & website tab. The field was cleaned of footer boilerplate on 7 September 2026, so the counts are credits and not copyright lines.
