What we hold about you, and about practices.
Two kinds of data: the public facts about practices that DentalGraph is built from, and the few details you give us when you create an account.
1. What DentalGraph is
A database built from public registers and practices’ own websites, joined into one record per practice, with the source and date on every fact.
2. Personal data in the public record
The public sources include names of people: company directors and controlling owners (Companies House calls them ‘persons with significant control’) with appointment dates and month and year of birth as Companies House publishes them; dentists on the General Dental Council (GDC) register with their registration numbers; people named on practice team pages. We hold them as published, with the source and date, and we do not combine them with anything private.
3. Where it comes from
The care regulators (the Care Quality Commission for England, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, Healthcare Inspectorate Wales and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority for Northern Ireland), Companies House, the GDC register, council planning portals, the Internet Archive, Google business listings through Dental Implants Local and, for a small number of practices, Google directly, and the practices’ own websites.
4. What you give us
Your email, a display name, your organisation, what kind of user you are (rep, owner, lab, investor and so on), your country, and the territories, lists and notes you save.
5. What we don’t hold
No patient information. No data about you from anywhere except what you type in.
6. Why we hold it
Legitimate interest: helping suppliers, owners and investors understand the dental market from public facts.
7. Cookies
A sign-in cookie, a cookie that remembers your country, and (on the private preview) an access cookie. No advertising cookies.
8. How long
Public facts are kept as history; a record older than its refresh period is marked as old, it is never shown as current. Your account data is kept while the account exists and deleted within 30 days of you closing it.
9. Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete your account: privacy@dentalgraph.net. If you are a director or dentist named in a public record, the source register is the place to correct it; tell us too and we will re-read it.
