Every practice that just changed hands is about to rebuild its website.
Who changed owner, whose site hasn't been touched in five years, who publishes no prices and takes no bookings online — with the agency credited in the footer.
“Which practices near us are about to spend on a new website, and who built the old one?”
Four things that are in the product now
Practices where a director or controlling owner changed in the last 6 months, as the call list "Changed hands", 326 practices counted 7 Sep 2026, and practices re-registered under a new owner on New practices, each dated by the filing or the register entry (Companies House, the care register).
When each website was first archived, so you can see whose site is years old: on record for 6,960 of 14,153 UK practices, counted 7 Sep 2026 (the Internet Archive).
Practices whose website has no online booking, as the call list "No online booking", 6,320 practices counted 7 Sep 2026, and whether the site publishes a single-implant price at all; 2,967 of 14,153 UK practices do, counted 7 Sep 2026 (their website).
On each practice's Equipment & website tab: the agency credited on the site, what the site is built on, and whether a Facebook advertising tag or a Google Ads tag is in its code. On the Reviews tab: the Google rating and review count (held for 12,206 of 14,153 UK practices, counted 7 Sep 2026) with the date we read the listing (their website; Google, through the directory listing).
Three things we can't tell you
How fast reviews are coming in, for most practices. We hold the rating and the review count with the date we read the listing. A change over 30 days exists only where we have read the listing twice: 212 of 6,016 rated UK practices as of 5 Sep 2026. The card below shows the row as it would print for one of those.
Whether the agency still works for the practice. "Website credit" is the name in the footer on the day we read the page. We print what the footer says, and some footers say odd things. It is not a contract.
Whether a practice is running adverts. A Facebook advertising tag or a Google Ads tag on the site means the tag is there, nothing more. We don't know whether adverts are live or what they spend.
Do this first
- 1Sign in and save your territory under My territories: a radius, postcode districts or a region. The whole country works too.
- 2Open Call lists with “My home territory” ticked, then Changed hands and No online booking. The filing date is on each practice’s Changes tab.
- 3Open a practice and read the Equipment & website tab: the platform, the agency credited, when the site was first archived, booking and tags. Add the ones you’d pitch with + List; export when you have twenty.

Questions
- How do you know a practice changed hands?
- Two ways, kept apart. At Companies House, a director or controlling owner changed at the practice's company, dated by the filing. On the care register, the practice re-registered under a new owner, and the register names the practice it replaced. A match we made ourselves is labelled "matched by us", with how sure we are.
- What does "website first seen 2019" mean?
- The earliest copy of the site in the Internet Archive. The site may be older, and the date says nothing about when it was last redesigned. Where there is no archived copy, we say so.
- Can I get every site's designer for a region in one list?
- Not yet. The credit is on each practice's Equipment & website tab; it is not a column in Find practices or in the spreadsheet export today.
